Payment Policy

I understand that KMAC requires members to sign a contract for an period of 12 months and members may cancel with 30 days notice by notifying the sensei.

A 30% cancellation fee must be paid on cancelling!
I understand that KMAC relies on the prompt dojo dues payments of members to stay open. A monthly invoice will be sent to me by email. I agree to pay my dojo dues as soon as possible, either by credit card (via the hyperlink on the invoice), Cash, or Check payable to KMAC. If I am unable to make a payment, I will notify a dojo manager and make an arrangement.
I understand that any stock dogi, belt, or promotion fee is payable upon delivery. Any special order items are payable before the order is placed.

THINGS TO KNOW: There are no hidden costs. Below is a list of additional investments that you will come across on your Martial Arts Journey towards Black Belt and/or during your participation in the Kenwyn Martial Arts (KMAC) program. TESTING FEES are a separate investment from the monthly tuition. There are testing fees to cover the expense of the Black belt promotion that includes student’s new belt, testing materials, KMAC certificate, and registration expenses. The testing fee starts from R440 and increase as the student promote to higher level classes and training. Fees are subject to change depending on improvements of the testing procedures and our organization’s affiliations. SPARRING GEARS must be karate approved. At orange belt, the student will need to purchase approved sparring gear. The investment will include all the safety equipment necessary to ensure proper and safe training. You can purchase from Kenwyn Martial Arts OR you are welcome to purchase the gears elsewhere. REQUIRED SEMINARS AND CAMPS. Pricing is available upon request. Our schools provide special seminars and camps that students MUST graduate in order to reach certain ranks and belts. These programs are provided for the benefit of our students to learn leadership skills, gain more knowledge about the Karate philosophy, stay up to date on the most current rules and regulations of the art of Karate, and opportunities to become certified referees and/or test examiners. Other optional additional investments: One-on-One Training, Add-on Training Programs, Day Gashukus, Summer Camps, Specialty Seminars, Specialized Training Camp, Championships, Tournaments, Etc.
