Swindon Beginners Course September 2025

Starting Wednesday 3rd September 2025: a 2 month introductory course in historical swordplay looking at Bolognese sidesword and buckler.

This will include work on guards, strikes, timing and distance.

Training takes place on Wednesdays at our Swindon venue:

St Johns Hall ,
Park North Swindon,
SN3 2LG
19:30 - 21:30

(That's the small building adjoining the church accessed via the car park)

The course includes:

• 2 months of group tuition 
• A The School of the Sword T shirt
• Training notes and historical guides

Course is available to anyone over the age of 18
